Search Tips
Search for content by entering one or more "keywords" or phrases. Use discriminating words that are likely to be found only in the content you are looking for. The more words entered, the more relevant the results will be.
Results will include content containing as many of the words as possible, ranked from most relevant to least relevant. Relevant content will be returned even if it does not contain all of the words entered. Relevance is determined by weighting words based on their statistical uniqueness. Common words such as "shall," receive a lower rating than less frequently occurring words such as the phrase "digital asset management."
More refined results can be produced by using one or more of the features described below.
Capitalize When Appropriate
Keywords or phrases entered in lowercase will return results that contain those words in any case. Entering capitalized words will return only those results which contain an exact case match. It is always a good idea to capitalize proper names.
Identify a Phrase
Search for an exact phrase by surrounding it with quotation marks, or by entering the phrase in the "Exact phrase" text field on the advanced search form. Only content containing those words adjacent to each other will be returned. Searching for one or more phrases is the most powerful search refinement technique because it eliminates ambiguity. Separate multiple phrases with a comma.
Require Words
Require word(s) by typing a plus sign ("+") immediately in front of each word to be required, or by entering each word in the "All of the words" text field on the advanced search form. If only one word is entered, with or without a plus sign, it is required by default.
Example: To search for content which may have the word "solutions," but must have the word "services," enter solutions +services. This will ensure that no results will be returned without the word "services." Be sure to include a space before the plus sign.
Sort Results
By default, search results are returned in ranked order by relevance, from most relevant to least relevant. Search results can be sorted instead from most recent to oldest by clicking on the "sorted by: date" link in the results header. Sort order can also be selected in the advanced search form by using the "Sorted by" radio button.
