SCG Honors Owner Operators at Third Annual Safety Awards Banquet

Saturday, March 1, SCG honored their outstanding Owner Operators at the third annual Safety Awards Banquet. Fifty-three Owner Operators were treated to a delicious dinner while learning about SCG's vision of Unity, Excellence and Growth for 2008. Owner Operators received updates on SCG's longevity, driver referral, and fuel discount programs as well as information on SCG's new driver facing technology options. The event was capped off with the Owner Operator Safety Awards, which reward accident and incident-free driving for Jan 1 - Dec 31, 2007. Over $160,000 was awarded to 73 Owner Operators, who in addition to a perfect driving record also met the requirements of participation in safety calls, timely submission of trip related documentation and consistent use of mobile communication. SCG salutes our exceptionable group of owner operators and thanks each one for a very successful 2007!
