Services
SCG provides a range of services designed to meet all of your ground transportation needs. Our locations are strategically located to provide maximum coverage in North America for our domestic and international customers.
On the road, SCG operates a rapidly growing owner operator fleet that is supplemented with contracted carrier capacity. All of our trucks are equipped with on-board communications and tracking. SCG's trailer fleet is comprised of 53' air-ride dry vans that are equipped with GPS tracking. Specialized trailer equipment and additional tractors can be secured as needed from an extensive base of fully qualified carriers and vendors.
Technology
The cornerstone of our technology architecture is information access and accuracy. SCG has partnered with industry leading technology companies for the development and delivery of solutions that bring value in the areas of process automation, quality of product and information delivery.
We offer full complete on-line self-service tools including quote requests, pickup/booking requests, and order tracking in addition to full shipment and activity reporting through our secured customer portal.
In addition to our on-line services, SCG also supports a wide variety of electronic data interchanges providing real-time freight visibility, exception management and performance reporting within your own order or transportation management software.
