SCG is committed to being one of the safest motor carriers in the industry. In order to achieve this goal, SCG has created safety policies and procedures that will ensure that we are in full compliance with all federal, state, local, judicial, municipality laws and regulations that help reduce or prevent accidents, fatalities, and injuries.
We have a dedicated Safety & Compliance staff that provides training, governance and assistance to our personnel, owner operators, customers and agents. A weekly conference call is held with our owner operators and daily shift meetings are held with our freight handlers with an emphasis on safety topics. SCG also recognizes safety as a primary component of our awards and recognition programs.
Security is also an integral part of all of our business policies and practices. We endorse and employ strict standards and safeguards for our customers, employees, equipment and partners both on and off the road.
